The device in your air system releases negatively charged ions that attach themselves to positively charged particles in your air — like dust, pollen and other contaminants. When the two charges fuse together, they make a denser particle that can’t float. The particle then drops to the ground or surface it is near and can be vacuumed or cleaned up later.
